Product Description
David Olenick built his New York-based illustration practice on a deceptively simple format, where two everyday objects, a sandwich and a glass of milk, a vinyl record and a cassette tape, an egg and a cracking partner, sit side by side and trade lines that read like a sitcom couple in their fifth season together. The Art of David Olenick 2027 Desk Calendar from Willow Creek Press features daily Olenick illustrations across the year, opening on a yellow-background cover where one egg with arms and legs holds a red wrench while a second egg looks over with a deadpan your-crack-is-showing line. Compact 6.18 x 5.43 inch desk box format with a tear-off page for every day of the year 365 daily pages featuring David Olenick's pun-driven character illustration in a daily desk format Covers January 1 to December 31, 2027 with a fresh page for each weekday Sturdy desk-friendly easel base lets each day stand upright on the desk Compact footprint fits any work desk, kitchen counter, or nightstand; printed on FSC-certified paper with soy inks on a plastic-free cardboard easel For Olenick fans whose social feeds already include his daily illustration posts and for character-art fans whose desk could use a daily clean-retro pun across the year ahead at the office or home desk. Each daily page tears off cleanly to reveal the next illustration underneath. The compact desk box footprint fits any work surface throughout the year.
