Let My People Go Harriet Tubman's story is almost too incredible to believe. Born a slave, she endured horrible treatment before escaping in the dead of night and avoiding recapture by inches before making it to the safety of Philadelphia. But she wasn't content with simply being safe herself. Over many years, she made around thirteen trips back to slave states to rescue approximately seventy people. Nothing could stop her or scare her in her fight for freedom. Product DetailsDress as a national hero when you wear this exclusive Harriet Tubman Kid's Costume! The long-sleeved blouse has a decorative row of silver-tone buttons that contrasts beautifully with the dark poplin material. The chiffon necktie fastens at the back of the neck and is pre-styled in a wide bow. The matching poplin skirt is approximately floor-length and features an elastic-backed waistband. Drape the red gauze shawl over your arms in case it gets uncomfortably chilly during your nighttime travels. Don't forget to accessorize with a prop lantern or even a fake pistol! Death or Liberty If you want to emulate your favorite historical figure who earned the nickname "Moses" for freeing so many slaves and who served in the Union army as a scout and a spy, this costume is for you! It just goes to show you that a cape isn't what makes a hero. What makes a hero is courage, conviction, and creativity in sticky situations. This outfit is ideal for Halloween, school events, theater performances, and more!
