Phil Collen has played Jackson since 1986, and the Pro Series Signature Phil Collen PC1-E continues the lineage of his landmark PC1 Dinky. This limited edition right-hand electric guitar pairs a genuine mahogany body with a worn black distressed nitrocellulose lacquer finish and gold hardware. The result is a focused signature instrument built around the pickup control, sustain, and neck features that define the PC1 concept.HSS Pickup Layout with Active SustainerThe bridge position uses a DiMarzio X2N DP102 humbucker, while the middle position uses a DiMarzio Sugar Chakra DP427BK pickup. At the neck, the PC1 Sustainer Driver works with an 18-volt Jackson Sustainer System. Dedicated controls provide active sustainer on and off selection plus fundamental, harmonic, and blend modes. A 5-position blade switch gives access to bridge, bridge and middle, middle, middle and neck, or neck pickup settings.Fast Neck Feel and Flexible SwitchingA one-piece caramelized maple neck is reinforced with dual graphite rods and finished with an oiled surface. The ebony fingerboard uses a 12-inch to 16-inch compound radius with 24 jumbo frets, a single pearloid sharkfin inlay at the 12th fret, and Luminlay side dots. A push-pull coil split on the volume control expands the bridge pickup options, while separate tone and sustainer intensity controls keep key adjustments close at hand.Double Locking Tremolo and Signature HardwareThe recessed Floyd Rose 1000 Series double locking tremolo uses a 37 mm block and pairs with Jackson sealed die cast locking tuners. The 25.5-inch scale length, locking nut, and gold hardware complete the performance-focused setup. A Jackson foam core case is included for storage and transport.
