A group of engineers may not agree on much and that's a good thing. But one thing they all like is options. That's why Warm created the WA76 Revision D Stereo compressor. The WA76-D2 is a faithful recreation of a 76-style compressor with a revised preamp stage. It leans on premium ceramic & electrolytic capacitors and metal film resistors to offer cleaner, low-noise gain on the front end while retaining the punch, warmth, and character of the analog circuitry it shares with the original Rev-A version. The trademark "grabby" compression is there along with the familiar attack, release, ratio, input, output, and meter display to make it feel like your working with an old friend. But "getting the band back together" doesn't mean you need to live in the past, so Warm added some "I wish" features to the WA76-D2. Besides being a stereo unit, you also get a dry/wet mix for parallel compression, selectable input impedance, active & true-bypass, plus a variable sidechain high-pass filter to make sure the low end behaves.
