New Child Monk Robe Costume | Religious Costumes Brown Large Fun Costumes Boys
A Profound MessageYou know, last summer we took the office on a week long hike and team-building retreat. It was….well, it’s a long story. But one of the highlights was the monk we met on day four. He was barefoot, and lived by donations only. So we gave him some stuff and he said he had some wisdom for us. He had some great stories and good ideas and after he left, we figured this would be a great costume to make, even though we never actually received that wisdom he promised. So, if your kid is sometimes vague and mysterious (and likes to be barefoot), this Child Brown Monk Robe may be perfect for him!Maybe your kiddo can come and go with some important wisdom for you as you do the dishes, or can find peace after a tough day at school by walking through the backyard. Whatever he figures out, this costume is great for imparting calm thoughtfulness and a hint of mystery!Fun DetailsWe’re not saying your kiddo will be the image of an angel or the perfect little peacekeeper in this look. No way. Even the monk we met had a few...interesting stories. But this costume may just emphasize a little more tranquility in his personality. This outfit is composed of a brown robe with hook & loop fastener at the back, and flared sleeves. To overlay that is an oversized hood with a wide cowl collar. The cord belt can be tie at the waist as desired (sidenote: the belt color may vary). In this great outfit, your little one will be meditating in the backyard in no time.A Final ThoughtWe talked about it a lot at the office after we met the mysterious monk. And maybe that was the profound message after all. He got us to talk...or maybe he was just a plant by corporate to assist in our team-building exercises. Who knows. Either way, the look will maybe help inspire that same growth in your kiddo!
