Traynor Ycv40

The first guitar amp for the new generation of Traynors is the Custom Valve 40 (YCV40). Real tube overdrive is provided by three Sovtek 12AX7WA dual triode preamp tubes while real tube power is provided by two Sovtek 5881WXT beam power tubes. The internal gadgetry in this channel switching amp provides good flexibility, but makes it very easy to get a great tone. The combination of the tube power and the Celestion™ Red Label speaker is magical. The three basic tones (clean, crunch and overdrive) are easily defined. With great tone at low levels, and shine and punch at full tilt, the Custom Valve 40 is already receiving rave reviews. We challenge you to compare us to the competition. You'll love the tone and instantly recognize the value.Although signal-to-noise is not normally a specification that is discussed where guitar amplifiers are concerned, the ultra-quiet Custom Valve 40 makes it an issue. Experienced professional users will appreciate the auto-matching tube circuit that maintains bias balance as tubes age ensuring hum free performance. Also, the DC filaments on the preamp tubes that all but eliminate hum. Listen carefully. Although the YCV40 has a tremendous amount of gain it remains virtually hum free. The unique "nouveau-retro" packaging of this amp makes it perfect for the leading edge or historical enthusiasts. Though the look is very fresh, the Custom Valve 40 stays true to the original Traynor line with black vinyl-covering, chrome plated corners, all plywood construction, and a classic front-mounted Traynor logo. The rear mounted control panel is easy to access, yet recessed for protection. And the warranty? Yorkville's standard two year (even if you break it!) transferable warranty*. The one that made Traynor famous in the sixties.*Warranty valid in Canada & United States only.Traynor YCV40 Features:Auto-matching tube circuit maintains bias balance as tubes age ensuring hum free performance throughout tube lifeDC filaments on preamp tubes eliminate humFully regulated power supply with tube rectifier emulationLong Accutronics spring reverbClassic Celestion™ speakerAll plywood enclosureHeavy gauge perforated grille with cloth coverCustom design "Chicken Beak" knobsTraynor YCV40 Specifications:Type: Tube Guitar AmplifierCabinet Impedance (ohms): 8Power @ min. impedance: 40 WattsMinimum Impedance (ohms): 4Speaker Configuration: 12"/40 WattsInput Channels: 2Channel 1 - inputs: 1/4" phoneChannel 1 - controls: Gain, Volume, Treble, Bass, MiddleChannel 1 - switches: BoostChannel 2 - inputs: Shares Channel 1Channel 2 - controls: Volume, Treble, Bass, MiddleChannel 2 - switches: Channel Select, BrightnessMaster Volume Control: YesMain Tone Controls: PresenceLine Out (type/configuration): 1/4" TRS/Rear (effects send)Effects Volume: YesEffects Loop/Location: Yes/RearEffects Footswitch/Function: Yes/Channel Select/BoostInternal Reverb/Effects: Spring ReverbLED Indicators: Channel/Boost/Power/StandbyExternal Speaker Output/Location: 1/4"/Rear with internal speaker defeatOther Features: Standby Switch – Activates standby mode to keep the tubes warm while the amp is not in use; Auto Tube-matching Circuit; Preamp Tube - 3xSovtek 12AX7WA Dual Triodes (Russia); Power Amp Tube - 2x Sovtek 6L6GB Beam Power Tubes (Russia); DC filaments on preamp tubes eliminate hum; Fully regulated power supply with tube rectifier emulation; Perforated Steel GrilleDimensions (HxWxD): 18 x 23 x 9.5"Weight: 47.2 lbs Traynor YCV40 40 Watts 1 x 12 Tube Guitar Amp.
