Delay can make or break your sound. Make yours with the D1 MKII and draw from a deep well of creative and specifically relevant programs. With six versatile delay programs, Digital, Mod, Vintage, Dual, Reverse, and Grain, it covers everything from crisp, tempo-locked echoes to lo-fi warble, dreamy reverse tails, and chopped-up rhythmic textures. Dial-up anything from tight rhythmic support to fully ambient washes, the D1 MKII adapts easily to your playing style. The onboard screen and intuitive interface make it easy to tweak parameters like modulation depth, age, tone, spread, and tap division, while BPM control can be set by knob, tap tempo, or MIDI input. Delay trails can be modulated using six different wave shapes, adding further dimension to your sound. Dual mode is now even more powerful, letting you set independent tap divisions per channel and route feedback paths for stereo ping-pong or complex layered repeats. Glitchy and granular grain mode opens the door to effects that reward experimentation, while the redesigned Reverse mode adds analog-style reversal behavior. With 128 preset slots and full MIDI integration, the D1 MKII brings flexible, studio-grade delay processing to your pedalboard in a format that’s easy to use and tough to outgrow.Walrus Audio Mako Series MKII: D1 High-Fidelity Delay FeaturesSix delay modes—Digital, Mod, Vintage, Dual, Reverse, and Grain—cover a wide range of textures from clean and rhythmic to ambient, glitchy, or tape-inspiredDual DSP architecture offers high-fidelity delay with customizable trails and dynamic controlOnboard screen and menu system simplify deep editing without menu divingControl key parameters like modulation depth, rate, tone, age, spread, and tap division using intuitive encodersTap tempo, MIDI, or manual BPM control keeps delay in sync with your performanceModulate trails with six LFO wave shapes including sine, square, ramp, reverse ramp, triangle, and randomRedesigned Dual mode allows unique tap divisions per channel and flexible routing (ping-pong, series, parallel) for rich stereo imagingReverse mode includes analog-style behavior for more natural-feeling reversed repeatsGrain mode offers glitchy, stuttered delay textures that respond musically to playing dynamicsSave and recall up to 128 presets via MIDI, with three instantly accessible onboardDesigned to offer studio-grade delay effects with hands-on control for guitarists, producers, and sound designers alikeWalrus Audio Mako Series MKII: D1 High-Fidelity Delay SpecificationsTrue Bypass, Hybrid Bypass, Buffered BypassThe D1 MKII comes in an anodized silver finish with black, dark green, red, orange and purple ink.The 2in OLED screen measures 128x32 pixels. The enclosure’s exact size with knobs is 4.9” x 2.52” x 2.64”.
