Austrian Audio Micreator-Studio

The Austrian Audio MiCreator Studio is a fresh take on what a compact recording setup can be. Part high-quality condenser mic, part audio interface, this little powerhouse (not much bigger than your cell phone) connects via USB-C and lets you capture studio-grade audio without a full rig. Tracking vocals, laying down riff ideas, recording voice-overs on the go, MiCreator is all about getting your sound down now, with no compromise on quality. The durable metal chassis gives it a solid, road-worthy feel, so you can toss it in a bag and trust it’ll be ready to work when inspiration hits. What really makes MiCreator stand out is how expandable it is. An extra input lets you connect a second mic or instrument, and Austrian Audio’s own MiCreator Satellite and Y-Lav mics (all sold separately) integrate directly for stereo recording, two-person interviews, or podcasting. The Satellite captures loud sources with up to 130 dB SPL, while the Y-Lav (sold separately) gives you a low-profile lav option for on-the-fly interviews or mobile content. You also get a choice of free software, Cubase LE for music production or WaveLab Cast for podcasting, so you’re equipped from day one. Whatever you need to capture, MiCreator Studio gives you a great-sounding, flexible starting point.Austrian Audio MiCreator Studio Microphone FeaturesHigh-quality condenser microphone and USB-C audio interface in one compact unitStudio-grade sound capture up to 48 kHz/24-bit resolutionCardioid pickup pattern keeps recordings focused and cleanRugged metal housing built for travel, fieldwork, and daily useSmall footprint—barely bigger than a phone—perfect for mobile setupsExpandable with an extra input for a second mic or instrumentCompatible with MiCreator Satellite and Y-Lav mics for stereo and dual-source recording (sold separately)Includes your choice of Cubase LE for music production or WaveLab Cast for podcastingBuilt-in hardware gain switch (0 dB / 20 dB) for flexible input controlUSB Audio Class 1.0/2.0 compliant for broad device compatibilityDual 3.5 mm analog I/O for instruments, headphones, or mic expansionDimensions: 155 x 60 x 37 mm; Weight: 370 gAustrian Audio MiCreator Studio Microphone SpecificationsDirectional characteristic: CardioidDigital resolution: max 48 kHz/24-bitFrequency range: 20 Hz - 20 kHzSensitivity: -35 dBFS/Pa (low gain)/-15 dBFS (high gain)Equivalent noise level: 22 dB SPL (A) (high gain)Hardware gain switch: 0 dB (low) / 20 dB (high)Max.
