New Tube Logic enhancements that enrich the core platform, provide greater sound, feel, and response, including a new expressive Pushed amp character that hits the sweet spot just before full break up. With 100 watts of Class AB power and an onboard 5-inch speaker for practice, The amp offers five refined characters, including the high-gain Brown type and the new touch-responsive Pushed character, each with a variation for 12 distinctive tones. Flip the Bloom switch to get a sharper attack with a dynamic low-end response that stays true at any volume thanks to the integrated Power Control. Designed to preserve that cranked-amp tone at all levels, the Power Control acts like a power soak, so you can laugh it off when someone yells "Yo, turn it down"! The Katana Gen 3 includes five simultaneous effect categories from the historic BOSS library, each with three variations, for 15 unique effects, and the BOSS Tone Studio offers further customization with 60 effect types. The optional Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adapter allows wireless editing via smartphone. Eight Tone Setting memories and rear-panel jacks for remote control with footswitches, expression pedal, and MIDI make the Katana Head Gen 3 a powerful tool for modern performers. Optional GA-FC and GA-FC EX Foot Controllers (sold separately) enhance stage control, with the EX model providing expansion options.
