The Behringer EUROLIVE VQ1800D is a 18" 500 Watt active subwoofer with an onboard stereo crossover, which makes this ideally suited for use with any of Behringer's active 2-way loudspeakers when extended low-frequency response is needed.The sub boasts the revolutionary Class-D amplifier technology, which provides enormous power while keeping the amplifier lightweight and eliminating massive heat sinks. The 18" custom-designed LF transducer is capable of up to 124 dB SPL (full space, 1W @ 1 m) and has a frequency response of 40 Hz - 200 Hz.The VQ1800D features balanced XLR inputs and outputs, as well as balanced XLR Thru jacks for connecting additional enclosures. A Boost Frequency knob targets a boost frequency between 40 and 90 Hz and gives it a +10 dB boost when the switch is activated. This subwoofer also has a High Cut dial that provides precision control over the upper-corner frequency of the subwoofer's amplifier. The High Cut dial does not affect the Thru signals, only signals directed to the subwoofer (however, it does affect the output socket signals sent out to full-range speakers). A Level knob controls the input gain, and the Phase switch reverses the output phase to compensate for frequency cancellation between the subwoofer and satellite speakers. LEDs show operational status at a glance, including power, signal present and input overloads. Refunds
