Radial 678 Sgi Tx Instrument Line Driver Transmitter

The SGI-TX is the transmitting half of a high performance line driver system for guitars that takes an unbalanced instrument signal and drives it as far as 100 meters (300ft) without noise.Perfect for in the studio, the SGI-TX can send guitar signals across long distances without signal degradation or noise while retaining the original tone of the instrument. There, it allows the guitarist to sit in the control room and play while connected to a guitar amp isolated in another room. In a live stage performance, the SGI can be used to play the guitar amp using off-stage isolation cabinets or it can be used to manage guitar signals to and from wireless systems, pedalboards and amplifiers. The SGI employs a proprietary drive and balancing circuit that is made up of two modules: the SGI-TX transmit module and SGI-RX receive module (sold separately). The SGI-TX is active with 100% discreet class-A circuitry and Drag™ control load correction to ensure the most natural sound. The SGI-RX is completely passive. To eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops, each module is equipped with isolation transformers that are wired in opposing directions to counteract any artifact. To purchase the full SGI studio guitar interface, look up the Radial SGI. For the receiver half only, look up the Radial SGI-RX.FeaturesBalanced line driver for guitar and bassSend signal up to 100 meters (300ft) without lossJensen transformers for optimal sound qualityDelivers natural tone to off-stage amplifiersCan be powered by standard 9V pedalboard power suppliesSpecificationsCircuit type: Active class-A circuit - transformer isolatedFrequency response: 20 Hz to 18 kHz (-2 dB)Dynamic Range: 112 dBTotal Harmonic Distortion: 0.005% @ 1kIntermodulation Distortion: 0.04% @ 1 kSGI-TX high-Z input: 1/4" jack - buffered - with Drag™ control load correction circuitInput Impedance: Variable from 10 kΩ - 1 MΩMaximum Input: +10 dBuSGI-TX Output: Balanced XLR-M outputNoise: -102 dBuGround Lift: Yes - LIFT switch on SGI-RXPower Supply: Included - 15VDC 400ma , center +Construction: 14-gauge steel chassis and outer shell, baked enamel finishPower: +15VDC/400mA adapter includedConditions: For use in dry locations only, 5-40°CSize (H x W x D): 1.75" x 2.75" x 4.25"Weight: 3 lbs (1.36 kg) Radial Engineering SGI-TX Studio Guitar Interface, Transmitter Only.
