The Catapult Mini™ TRS is the compact transmitting or receiving component of Radial® Engineering's Catapult Mini™, a Cat 5/6 analog audio snake system that is designed to reduce onstage clutter, simplify setups, and take advantage of pre-existing wire infrastructure. This gear is engineered to act like the transmitting end of a typical 4-channel analog audio snake, enabling you to send mic or line-level signals from one location to another without experiencing signal loss, noise, or interference, and with no digital audio conversion required. This component is made to send or receive the signals when paired with either another Catapult Mini TRS, a Mini TX XLR transmitter, or a Mini RX XLR receiver (all sold separately). Rather than using multi-channel analog audio cable which can be unwieldy and expensive, the Catapult system lets you employ widely available, lightweight, and economical Cat 5 Ethernet cable. Just connect a shielded Cat 5 cable between any 2 matched Catapult modules and they'll use the cable's analog conductors to deliver 4 balanced audio lines to any destination. And considering many buildings are already Cat 5 pre-wired, you can take advantage of this to transmit audio between distant rooms with no need to install or supply new cable. And because the Catapult system is modular, you're able to mix and match varying transmit and receive boxes to best fit your situation.Ditch the typically unwieldy and expensive audio snakes and send your signals over Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable instead with the Catapult Mini TRS!FeaturesSend four channels of analog audio over a Cat 5/6 cableAvailable with 1/4” TRS connectorsWorks with a building’s existing cable infrastructureCompact and lightweight, yet durable and ruggedEconomical Cat 5/6 cable replaces bulky multichannel audio snakesSpecificationsAudio circuit type: Passive RJ45 to 1/4" TRSFrequency Response: 7 Hz to 20 kHzTotal Harmonic Distortion (THD+N): 0.0005% 1 kHzDynamic Range: 140 dBCommon Mode Rejection Ration (CMRR): >103 dBInput/Output Connector: RJ45Output/Input Connectors: 4 x 1/4" TRSConstruction: 16-gauge steel chassis and outer shellPower: Passive, no power requiredConditions: For use in dry locations only, 5-40°CChassis Size: 4.2" x 1.32" x 1.6" (107 x 34 x 41mm)Cable length: 2' (0.6m)Weight: 0.85 lbs (0.4 kg) Radial Engineering Catapult Mini TRS 4-Channel Analog Audio Over CAT 5 Cables Breakout Box with Tails.
