The Radial JD7 Injector is a creative recording tool disguised as a guitar signal distribution amplifier that allows a guitar signal to drive as many as seven amplifiers simultaneously without loss or coloration.Front panel control makes selecting amplifiers, ground paths and polarity (phase reversal) easy. The JD7 utilizes a Class-A audio signal path that has been optimized for use with electric guitars and is 100% discreet (no amps or chips) producing the most accurate and faithful signal at each output. The world's finest audio transformers by Jensen are employed to eliminate such problems as 60 cycle hum caused by ground loops without signal degradation. The Radial JD7 also features a balanced direct output to allow the engineer to record a dry guitar track or to use the JD7 as a direct box. A balanced input allows a pre-recorded track to be sent back into the JD7 which can then drive amplifiers, effect pedals and other devices. For increased versatility for routing and recording guitar and bass, no sound engineer should be without the Radial JD7!Radial Engineering JD7 Features:1-in, 7-out signal routing system for guitaristsAlso drives 2 effect loops simultaneouslyOne-touch super intuitive operation of all functionsClass-A circuit, Jensen Transformer isolated outputsNatural sound does not introduce artifacts to the signalDrag control recreates guitar to amp relationshipBalanced I/O - remix new sounds from dry tracksRadial Engineering JD7 Specifications:Audio circuit type: 100% discrete class-A with transformer isolationNumber of channels: 2 Input 7 OutputsFrequency response: 20Hz ~ 20kHz (± 1dB)Dynamic range: 125dB (unbalanced input to unbalanced output)Total harmonic distortion: 0.05% @ 1k (unbalanced) 0.1% @ 1k (balanced)Intermodulation Distortion: 0.2% @ -20dBuInput Impedance: Variable from 10k Ohms ~ 1megaOhmOutput Impedance: ¼" unbalanced: 10k Ohms; XLR balanced: 150 OhmsNoise Floor: -115dBuMaximum Input: +13dBu (unbalanced) +23dBu (balanced)Features: Input pad, 180° polarity reverse, Ground lift, Drag Control, Effects LoopInput Connectors: 1/4", XLROutput Connectors: 1/4", XLRConstruction: 14-gauge steel chassis & outer shellSize (L x W x D): 19" x 6.25" x 1.75" (48.3cm x 15.875cm x 4.45cm)Weight: 3.4 kg (7.5 lbs)Shipping size (L x W x D): 22" x 10.375" x 4.5" (55.9cm x 26.4cm x 11.4cm)Shipping weight: 8lb (3.63kg)Power: +15VDC/400mA adapter includedConditions: For use in dry locations only between 5°C and 40°CWarranty: Radial 3-year, transferable Radial Engineering JD7 Guitar Signal Splitter and Distro, 7 Amp Outputs, DI Box and Reamper.
