Compact and lightweight, the PreSonus AIR15 2-way active PA loudspeaker's 15-inch woofer and 1.35-inch HF driver deliver a rich, extended low-end and natural high-frequency extension in an enclosure that fits in the back of a small car. Backed by 1,200W (peak) of Class D/Class AB power and enhanced with easy-to-use digital tuning functions, the AIR15 gives you all the power and tools you need for both mobile and installed sound. A choice of inputs enables use with a variety of sources.ControlsAn easy-to-use signal processor with presets makes it simple to customize the AIR15's response for use as front-of-house mains, as monitor wedges, for music playback, for improved speech intelligibility, and enhanced low-end and warmer sound. Treble and bass controls boost or cut by 10 dB to compensate for room anomalies. Location presets optimize performance for stand and bracket mounting as well as flown installations.Pro SoundThe AIR15's multi-angle enclosure sports non-skid rubber feet on the bottom for upright front-of-house use and on one side for stage monitor applications. Rig it using M10 fly points or ground stack for portable applications. Mount it on a tripod or atop an AIR-series subwoofer using an optional subpole. An integrated dual-position pole mount lets you aim the speaker level or at a 7.5-degree downward tilt. And the AIR15 is easy to transport, thanks to its top-mounted handle. With its pro features and audio quality, the AIR15 is a great choice for mobile and installed sound.More About the AIR15’s Power AmplifiersAIR15 loudspeakers provide up to 124 dB SPL of sweet, clear sound throughout the speaker’s 47 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range. A 900W (peak), Class D amplifier powers the 15-inch low-frequency driver for efficient, clean low end. A 300W (peak), Class AB amplifier powers the 1.35-inch HF driver, delivering a natural-sounding, ‘AIR-y’ high end.Monitor Preset Corrects Excess BassIf you place a loudspeaker against a wall or floor, the low frequencies emitted from the rear propagate back into the room, increasing bass frequencies by as much as 6 dB. AIR loudspeakers offer a Monitor preset that uses DSP to compensate for bass build-up and maintain a tight mid-bass response while suppressing problem frequencies.Multiple Inputs for Variety of SourcesAIR full-range loudspeakers feature two combo XLR mic/TRS line inputs, each with a Class A mic preamp and independent gain control. A stereo 1/8-inch connection admits signals from consumer audio devices. These signals can be combined with the internal mixer, and a balanced XLR Mix output lets you pass the signals to other AIR-series loudspeakers.
