Transmitter with display for monitoring combustible gasesIf combustible gases and vapors need to be monitored outside Ex zones, the CC22 D transmitter is a reliable and economical solution. The CC22 D transmits measured values and status notifications using an analog (4-20 mA) signal, while also displaying them on site. In case of an alarm, a local acoustic signal by the CC22 D's loud buzzer will warn anyone in the vicinity. In combination with GfG's reliable controllers, the transmitter can be installed in new gas detection systems or retrofitted into existing ones. The CC22 D detects combustible gases and vapors such as methane, propane and hydrogen by means of catalytic combustion (CC). The current measured value is always displayed on the 2.2-inch display, which lights up red in the event of an alarm. The long-life sensors make the CC22 D an economical solution for detecting a wide range of combustible gases in the measuring ranges 0 to 100 % LEL. Its automatic temperature compensation and the linearization of the measuring signals ensure high measuring accuracy.Functional safety and device protectionThe hardware of the CC22 D complies with the European Functional Safety Standard DIN EN 61508-2: 2011 (SIL). The housing is protected against the ingress of dust and water (protection class: IP54). An optional weatherproof housing provides additional protection.Communication and serviceThe CC22 D uses two status LEDs to indicate its operating status. Signals are transmitted using the analog industrial standard (4-20 mA). Service and adjustments can be carried out on site, using an intuitive built-in button interface (one-person adjustment). The multi-colored backlit display shows the current measured value, status messages and the CC22 D's menu. Test gases for function tests can be inserted via a calibration adapter.Features:Measuring principle: catalytic combustion (CC)For flammable gases and vaporsExpected sensor lifetime: 5 years2.2-inch color display, built-in button interface, buzzerSignal transmission: 4-20 mADetectable gas: Ethyl AcetateApprovals / Certifications:SIL 2/3 (hardware)For more information, please see Info Sheet and Full Specification
